What is CareCredit:

When more extensive dental care is necessary, financial arrangements can be made through CareCredit.  CareCredit is a personal line of credit for healthcare treatments and procedures for your entire family, including your pets.  It works like a credit card but it has two advantages.  It can only be used for healthcare services and you can  get no Interest financing every time you use it.  You can get a no interest payment plan if paid in full within 3, 6, or 12 months  or depending on the amount, 18 or 24 months on purchase with your CareCredit card.  Interest will be charged to your account from the purchase date if the promotional balance, including optional charges, is not paid in full within the terms you choose or if you make a late payment. Minimum monthly payments are required.

We try to make your dental care as cost-efficient as possible.  One of the measures we have taken to keep cost down is to keep our billing and accounting to a minimum. Because of this we do ask for payment at the time of service.  We ask that you pay your estimated portion of the fee not covered by  your insurance at the time of service.  When we receive payment from your insurance company, you will receive a statement for any balance that may remain or a prompt refund if a credit exists.

Please understand that all Treatment Plans are estimates,  however, you are fully responsible for any balance not paid by your insurance company. Our staff will gladly submit a pre-treatment to your insurance company so that you will know what your benefit payment will be.

The fees charged for services rendered to those who are insured are the usual and customary fees charged to all our patients for similar services. Your policy may base its allowances on a fixed fee schedule, which may or may not coincide with our usual fees. You should be aware that  insurance companies vary greatly in the types of coverage available. Also, some companies take care of claims promptly while others delay payment for several months.
